A timeless recipe for soft and chewy oatmeal cookies packed with plump raisins and a hint of cinnamon.

Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 °F.

Step 2

Sift the flour together with the 1/2 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp cinnamon.

Step 3

Stir in the quick cooking oats.

Step 4

Combine the 1 egg, brown sugar, vegetable oil, milk, vanilla extract, and raisins.

Step 5

Add the wet ingredients to the flour mixture, stirring thoroughly.

Step 6

Drop by tablespoonful onto an ungreased cookie sheet.

Step 7

Bake for 15 minute to 18 minute.

Step 8

Remove to a wire rack to cool.
